why does nanak say"by the guru’s grace"? Is man’s own hard work not enough? it

is very important to understand this point, because guru nanak stresses the guru

a great deal.guru nanak says that without guru god cannot be attained.what is

the reason for this?if god is everywhere why cant i meet him directly? why do i

need to bring in tne guru?

we need guru because without guru you can’t drop the ego inside you. There is

no difficulty in attaining god directly, because he is there right in front of

you. whreever you go there he is. but there is one difficulty The YOU standing

with in yourself and you can remove this interfering YOU by only the guru’s

grace.

whatever we do a voice with in us constantly repeats " I have done this, I

have done that…" if you are doing kirtan you are aware that YOU are singing

shabad. if you meditate the feeling wih in us is "I am meditating." a person

who goes to the gurdwara everyday thinks he is much better than the ones who do

not go to gudwara or go rarely. the greater your insenstivity ,the greater your

need for guru. the only feeling should be whatever results is due to the

guru’s grace.

In satyug there was not much need of guru because people were very alert, full

of awareness. In kalyug where the end is near . you cannot under any

cicumstances ,do without the guru because you will be constantly filled with

ego.

SANTS AND NAAM

So many sants have come  into the world and have given people what they wanted  ie  maya – whatever worldy thing people wanted from God, the Sant arranged for  eg  removal of illness, financial prosperity, marriage of children,  gift of a son and so on.    However the Sant may only have given the NAAM in their heart to their successor or a close few in their inner circle.    And they do not tell the full truth to the masses about the need for sant satguru being a living human being because of the norms of religion.  Eg  Sikhs know that with a sant they find their spirituality increases and their worldy affairs are taken care of.  Yet if the Sant allows people to bow to him or calls himself a Guru , he would be thrown out of the Sikh Panth. So the Sant’s sangat treat him like Guru in private and publically tell everyone they just need Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji – wereas they know full well they need Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the one in whom the Siri Guru Granth Sahib ji has become real – the SANT SATGURU.

That is what most sants that you see do.   But a true brahmgiani walks in the opposite direction to the world and has no interest in maya.  Baba Ji gives Gurprasadi Naam freely to one and all.  If he sees they are not ready for it he first directs them to do seva and WAHEGURU WAHEGURU repetition and to give up alcohol and other intoxicants.     When they are ready for it, Baba ji has removed all ceremonies and external rituals surrounding inititaion procedures in past religions.  Those ceremonies are just ‘ritual and maya’ as he put it.   Baba ji gives gurprasadi naam directly to you by speaking SATNAAM with you repeating afterwards.   He even does this over the phone to anyone all over the world  And many disciples who have not even met Baba Ji in person are enjoying the highest realms of spiritual bliss after receiving Gurprasadi Naam just over the phone.  Baba Ji’s only conditions with giving gurprasadi naam is that you do naam simran without any wants – free from desires.  Love Naam because you love God,  not because you want some worldy or supernatural thing.    Maya is a servant of Naam.   So focus on Naam , not on Maya, and ultimately maya will come and serve you.

Ik Oankaar Satgur Parsaad

There are three main reasons for most Sants distributing worldly comforts and not serving and delivering the Eternal Truth, the Absolute Divine Truth, delivering the complete divine knowledge needed for complete worship – Puran Gyan for Puran Bandgi, delivering the Gur Parsaad, the Naam Ki Daat, the Amrit Ki Daat, the Bandgi Ki Daat to the masses:

1)To attract a large number of followers, whereas most of these followers come to the Sangat only for meeting their worldly demands, there may be hardly any who make spiritual progress, this brings fame to such Sants as well as Maya in the form of money to run their operations all over.

2) The second reason, which is even more important reason is very important to understand so be patience and listen carefully: when a Sant (by a Sant we mean the entity who is a merged in Akal Purakh and has reached the Param Padvi, who is a Puran Braham Gyani, who is a Satguru and authorized by the Akal Purakh to give Gur Parsaad to the Sangat) gives Naam Ki Daat, Amrit Ki Daat and Bandgi Ki Daat to His Sangat, He takes the full and complete responsibility of them, He becomes your lawyer in the Court of Akal Purakh and stands to save you and take you through your Bandgi and eventually get you Jivan Mukti, by doing so He takes the responsibility for your complete cleansing of all the mental sicknesses, during this process He has to take all your mental sicknesses on Himself in order to cure you completely, same way many a times for people with chronic diseases He has to take such other sicknesses as well to keep you healthy and going, and even more importantly all the prayers you perform – Ardaas, also goes through Him, so He has to bear all this pain while you progress through your Bandgi, and bearing all this pain is not easy, it takes a lot for Him to keep up and help His Sangat through this very slippery, very difficult passage to the Sach Khand. Such a Sant remains with you all the times in His Astral Body and protects you from all the negative forces on a continuous basis until you are yourself ready to fight with these forces of your own. Thus such a Sant delivers and serves the Eternal Truth in the true sense by bringing salvation to His Sangat and renders the highest service to the Almighty: Dhan Dhan Dhan Jan Aayeaa Jis Parsaad Sabh Jagat Traayeaa. Considering this pain bearing job needed to deliver and serve the Almighty with this highest service, most Sants restrain from doing so and only give Gur Parsaad to a very few of their disciples or none, and mostly remain engaged in the activities listed under reason number 1 above just to get fame and wealth.

3) The third most important reason for not delivering and serving the Complete Eternal Truth is the pressure of the society and traditional religious organizations like SGPC and other religious bodies. The deliverance of the Complete Eternal Truth and serving the Almighty by spiritually uplifting the Sangat will require to break the status quo, the rituals, the delusions and illusions, to show the real spiritual path for the spiritual progress of the Sangat, by delivering the Gur Parsaad – Naam Amrit to the Sangat and so on, which is against the norms of the so called religious society, this involves a conflict with these religious organizations and can lead to some serious consequences. There are examples in the history, Jesus Christ was prosecuted for speaking, delivering and serving the truth, Guru Nanak Patshah was called Kurahia, Betala, (person moving on wrong path, a ghost) and so on, there are other such examples in the history of all religions. The pure and pious Eternal Truth is so pure and pious that, it is not understood by such religious bodies in the right perspective and such organizations start to fight with such Sants. So to avoid the slandering and confrontation with such religious bodies most Sants keep on following the existing ways and means of preaching.

Therefore, only such Sants who become Nirbhao and Nirvair break the status quo, deliver and serve the Eternal Truth by giving Gur Parsaad and helping their Sangat achieve salvation, and such Sants are very rare, very fortunately for us Sant Baba Ji is one such Sant on the earth, who has been very kind on all of us with the Gur Parsaad and helping us through this Bandgi; which is to walk on Khandy Ki Dhaar – to walk on the edge of the sword. The real Bandgi starts with Gur Parsaad, which is the Ek Boond Amrit & Naam Amrit and this Gur Parsaad can only be given by a Satguru, a Puran Sant, a Puran Braham Gyani, and only such an soul can help us realize our spiritual goals, that is why Gurbani Says: Ik Oankaar Satnaam Satgur Parsaad, and Satgur Sikh Ko Naam Dhan Dey, Naam Amolak Rattan Hai Purey Satgur Paas, Bin Satgur Kinnai Naa Paayeaa. Gurbani is the Prescription and Satguru is the Doctor who can administer this prescription inside us and cure us of all the mental sicknesses, help us go through the Bandgi and achieve salvation. This is a mandatory divine law, it has been applicable since all ages, it was applicable during the period of Guru Sahibans and it is applicable now, nobody has the power to change it, it will remain applicable for all ages to come because the divine laws don’t change with time.

MEETING SATGURU

Uncle Ji said that it is ego to think that it is you who is doing the bhagati.    Actually only God can take you on a spiritual voyage.  And when you are ready he will help you with the next step.   But God is Nirankar – Formless.   And rarely communicates directly to you on in the physical realm.   So God becomes manifest as a Satguru – an enlightened human being.   And when the time is right  God will guide you via the Satguru and  purifies you.

Out of millions God picks one who has pre-ordained destiny on his forehead and lifs him up.  That one  sees Sachkhand ahead, yet the millions in his religion  pull his feet back.  They say he is wrong,  he is an idiot, but he sees “The Truth” and experiences what is in sggs : internal amrit, atam ras, anhad vajay and knows it is right.  God is beant inside you,  and beant outside you, yet religion is limiting God to one prophet one way,  so those limits have to be broken so you can become beant too.

GUIDANCE

Uncle Ji said that it is no good receiving Guprasadi Naam from a Brahmgiani and then not having any guidance.   For example when most people get initiated into the Sikh Panth they are not contacted again to see how they are progressing.    Uncle Ji served as a Punj Piara for many decades and said the only time he would see someone again is when they had broken one of the rules and had to receive a fine and punishment.    Similarily, Brother Ji said that if the sant you received Gurprasadi naam from dies after giving you it, then it will be difficult for you to progress without the living Brahmgiani’s guidance.

Brother Ji said that in the same way that God guides you through the living SatGuru,  past Guru’s also work through the living Guru.  Without a living SatGuru, devotees may be blessed with visions of the past Guru’s and snippets of advice.   But in a living Guru, the past Guru’s are fully present and talking to you full on.   For example in Baba Ji’s sangat many people have been blessed with sacred darshan of the ten Sikh Gurus.

FOLLOW HUKAM

The True brahmgiani only obeys the direct hukam of God.  Until you are brahmgiani it is a good idea to obey the hukam of a brahmgiani.  Then when you become brahmgiani you too will come under direct control of God’s hukam to you.

When God or the brahmgiani gives you a Hukam, an order, then  follow the hukam and you will progress even more.   If you don’t follow the hukam your spritual progress will stop.  That is what happened to the hindu Gods and Goddesses and to Brahma ,Vishnu And Shiva.   Ultimately they started getting themseleves worshipped, instead of connecting souls back to Akal Purakh – the Supreme.  So they are stuck at their levels which are less than the Supreme.

When doing bhagti sooner or later you  will get Hukam to do something.   If you do it you will progress otherwise go back down the ladder.  Uncle Ji said that for the last few months he has had hukam to go to a certain state in India and serve them,  and in other vision he has also been shown their faces.    They don’t know how God is helping them.   Uncle Ji said he did ardas that in order to fulfill this order of Akal Purakh he needs more bhagati.  So Akal Purakh is currently in process of filling him up.

Once my mum had a vision of all the suffering people in her home town – someone in hospital, someone with mental suffereing and so on.   She found it difficult to cope with seeing everyone’s suffering  and did ardas not to not to be shown that again.   She even asked Guru Nanak in her ardas why so many suffering people have come to her for help – because she did not feel capable of doing anything for them.   In her vision Guru Nanak told her that even he was under hukam to go to the poor and suffering, to the lowest of the low.

If you receive a vision and do not understand it  always do Ardas to ask what the hukam was for you.   Dassan Das  Ji said that a Sant has to take the suffering of hundred and thousands of people around them in their time and place.   That is why gurbani says that  the place where a sant is is ever green.
